Experiencing war/displacement has a jarring ability to alter how a child learns, plays, and grows.
Support from caring adults can act as a protective mechanism against the impact of trauma. It may be the single most important factor in a child’s recovery. We need your help to support the littlest people (3–6-year-olds) with compassionate interactions, play and art therapy in STEP’s child-friendly-spaces.
Please donate between Midday Tues 30th Nov and Midday Tues 7th Dec, and your donation will be doubled, having twice the impact.
£25 would become £50 - which would enable a child to attend our Little Friendly Space (LFS) in the Arbat refugee camp for a month.
£50 would become £100 - covering the cost of two months of activities and compassionate interactions in the LFS for a child.
